Madison Hamilton, Operations Manager

"Maddy" paddled at Abenaki for 10 years as a child before moving to Senobe Aquatic Club for a number of years to further her paddling goals.

Upon retiring from competition, it only made sense to make the transition into coaching, as she wasn’t ready to leave the sport and wanted to give back to the next generation and share her knowledge. Maddy is a natural-born leader who deeply loves this sport and the atmosphere that surrounds it.

Maddy is dedicated to not only the competitive aspect of the sport but also the recreational side as well. She plays a an important role in developing and improving our non competitive groups. Her belief that everyone should have a chance to get out on the water in a positive, safe and enjoyable environment is the common thread for all of our paddling programming.

Maddy is proud to say that she has represented both Abenaki and Senobe at the National Level and has the medals to prove it! To play part in a young athlete’s journey whether through competition or conquering a goal or fear, is why Maddy loves to coach. She has made Abenaki her home and is dedicated to providing our athletes a fun, safe and enjoyable experience.
