Hello, I’m 13 years old, going into grade 9 at ADJH. I have spent my summers at Abenaki since 2019 and this year, I would like to share my joy with the children I babysit. I have my babysitting course certificate, I passed all my swim levels, and I won most improved paddler summer 2023 in competitive paddling. I am responsible, optimistic and kind. I have 2 younger brothers whom I babysat part-time last summer. I babysit a 1 year old and 3 year old during the school year. Lexi McCutcheon
My name is Lexi McCutcheon, I will be starting grade 9 in the fall and I’m interested in babysitting children at Abenaki Aquatic Club this summer. I have several years of babysitting experience. Competitively, I play fastpitch, ringette, flag football and volleyball. Needless to say, I’m very active and love sports.  This means I won’t run out of energy for the kids I’m supervising!

Adrianna Rutledge

My name is Adrianna Rutledge, I am 14 years old and  a grade 9 student at Astral Drive Junior High. I will be attending Auburn Drive High School in the fall.

I have been paddling the last 2 summers, Senobe the first year then Abenaki. I also spent earlier summers at Abenaki when my older brothers paddled there.  I am a strong swimmer and am very comfortable around the water.

I play others sports including ringette for the Harbour City Lakers as well as for Ringette Nova Scotia.

I have my Babysitting Certificate as well as first aid training. I have experience with day time babysitting of pre school and school aged children.

Rylan Sawler
My name is Rylan  and I am interested in providing summer care for your child or children at Abenaki this summer. I’m 14 years old , going to grade 9 at Astral Junior high and very qualified to give your children the attention and fun they deserve this summer .

I have my St John Ambalance baby sitters course as well my mom has run a home daycare for over 10 years so I’ve had first hand training when it comes to child care for many years. 
I’ve also baby sat for some of my mom’s clients and family members. 
Summer, sun and water go hand in hand with me, our family has cottage on the lake! We’ve spent a lot of weekends in the water, on paddle boards,kayaks, water skiing and soaking up the sun :)

Kiara McGann

Olivia Meagher

My name is Olivia Meagher, I am 14 years old and will be attending Woodlawn High School and going into their Pre IB program. I am interested in babysitting for a family or 2 this summer with the child(ren) being any age at Abenaki Aquatic Club and providing the child(ren) with loads of fun!

 

In previous years I have babysit family members and provided them with a fun time. I have also taken my St. John's Ambulance babysitting course and have received the certificate with it, with the course it comes with basic first aid and CPR. In grade 9 I had taken child studies so I've learned a few things from that too. I used to be involved with cheerleading with 2 different clubs, gymnastics and I've taken swimming lessons, so it's safe to say that if your child(ren) wants someone to play with in the water I am more than capable to do so (along with fun things outside of the water.) I'd say that I am a very responsible teenager, along with being patient and reliable.
